Dr. Gill,
War is defined as an active conflict that has claimed more than 1,000 lives.
--War is hell for civilians. They are shot, bombed, starved, and driven from their homes.
--War is hell for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines.
--Their overall odds of dying if they are deployed to a war zone in a military capacity are about 1 in 15.
--Americans and their allies typically cause 10 to 20 times more combat casualties than they suffer themselves.
However, they do suffer even if they live.
--If you are in a battle, even a short one, you will more likely divorce.
--If you are in a battle, you are twice as likely to commit domestic abuse.
The nasty truth of Western thought is that out of the past 3,400 years, humans have been entirely at peace for 268 of them, or just 8 percent of recorded history.
Your Western approach is war-mongering.
You support war, Dr. Gill.
Be it slim or prettied up in any way.
Stand up for what you believe in.
We do.
