Author and education activist Jonathan Kozol is the author of over a dozen books,
including The Shame of the Nation: The Restoration of Apartheid Schooling in America,
Savage Inequalities: Children in America's Schools, and Death at an Early Age: The
Destruction of the Hearts and Minds of Negro Children in the Boston Public Schools
that was the recipient of the National Book Award for Science, Philosophy, and Religion
in 1968. Mr. Kozol is the founder of Education Action an organization that advocates
against the government's No Child Left Behind legislation and promotes educational
reform in the public school system.

Retired general Tony Zinni, former head of CENTCOM and former special envoy to the
Middle East, talks about his latest book.  Gen. Zinni, who served in the Marines
from 1965 to 2000, is currently president, CEO, and chairman of the board of BAE
Systems, Inc.  Gen. Zinni discusses his book with retired lieutenant general Julius
Becton, Jr., former head of FEMA and former superintendent of the Washington, DC
public school system.  Gen. Becton, who served with the Army in World War II and
the U.S. wars in Korea and Vietnam, wrote about his life in the recently published
book, Becton: Autobiography of a Soldier and Public Servant.
