Good question!

1.  Oddmusic is anything but "exactly" -- it's a general container we're
using for whatever mainstream music ignores, including not only alternative
traditions' music (avant-garde, microtonal, indigenous) and their
accompanying alternative historical narratives, but also different
relationships between music and society ~ questioning music as mere
entertainment, or as mere carrier to some message, and looking at what music
could and does "do".  As Herbert Brun once put it, "What does that which I
do do? What does that I do it do?"
