Hey yeah, whatever happened to programs promoting birth control in third world countries (and among those in our own country forced to live as third world citizens)? Hardly ever hear of those any more -- seems they've all but been but replaced by other worthy causes which extend or sustain life -- fighting HIV-AIDS and TB... --Jenifer

All this is irrelevant to a real problem (which too many ignore) in coming years: that the earth now has problems involving energy, climate change, natural resources and sustainability all of which are greatly exacerbated by an increasing world population.
