I like this.  You should publicize this and start a counter-fund, proceeds to
got to a Palestinian rights organization - or a domestic group devoted to
combating hasbara.

In lieu of donations, people could write their legislators demanding a
withdrawal of money and military support to the Israeli government.  Or they
could do both.

Fred's letter should not go to waste, to paraphrase Obama's chief of staff.
