[Peace-discuss] Repeal Congress' blank check for war

This is important.  Both the current administration and the last have relied 
(lied and re-lied) on the AUMF passed by Congress a week after 9/11. It's the 
only constitutional warrant Obama has for continuing to kill people in the 
Middle East .  Therefore he /must/ say that the purpose of the Long War in the 
Middle East is to "stop terrorism" - he has no authorization for anything else, 
and 70% of Americans think the war is not worth the loss of life.

But we know that the US war in the Mideast creates terrorists much faster than 
it discourages them.  The administration is not stupid: they know that  - and 
rely on the existence of terrorists as an excuse for our massive military 
occupation of the region & its resources:
