Any problem with AWARE saying that we'd support CSAMES for a series of
film screenings?  The series title they'd mentioned was:

promote the films & help bring people to them.

Dear Stuart,

Last November, you wrote a letter of support for the Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (CSAMES) grant application for our proposal "Beyond the Looking Glass: Cinematic Reflections on Women in Middle Eastern and South Asian Societies" for a Public Engagement grant.  Unfortunately, we were not awarded this grant, but CSAMES is now applying for a grant from the Illinois Humanities Council for the similar film screenings.  Would AWARE like to support this new grant?  If so, then you could just alter the original letter to the current date and change the language to read "Illinois Humanities Council" instead of "the UIUC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Public Engagement."

If you do not have the original letter, I can scan it in and email it to you.  We would need to have it by Friday, Oct. 8.  Please let me know if AWARE would be willing to support this proposal again and if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to address those.
