One  of  six...   that's right...  1  of   6 !!!!    Incumbent Tim Johnson was one of only six congressmen to vote against  a bill for Veterans' Health Care...  his reason, he stated was that it would bump the budget,  yet he is in favor of tax reductions for those who earn in excess of $500,000 annually..   which is a bigger budget buster...   Vote for Dr.  Gill...

Dear Friends, 

What’s Tim Johnson hiding? He has reneged on his promise to debate me. Johnson’s spokesman says further debates—the last one was held in 2006—would not be “particularly illuminating." 

Well, I think that a five-term Congressman who has nothing new to say in four years has not been tackling the real issues and concerns facing the people of the 15th District! 

Worse, maybe Johnson doesn’t want you to know what he has been up to, including his vote AGAINST HR 5822 to provide $171 billion for veterans' health care in 2011—a rare bipartisan achievement that passed 411 to 6. I find his ‘nay’ vote appalling—that’s no way to treat our veterans! 

So this week I held rallies across the district and exposed Johnson’s cowardice. Guess what? The media
 from St. Louis to Fox News to radio stations and newspapers here in IL-15 are paying attention, and we put Johnson on the defensive. 

I’m writing to you because at this critical time I need your help and support!
