[Peace-discuss] Fw: What is Tim Johnson hiding?

This is quite wrong. Read the bill. Title IV e.g. includes a billion dollars
for military construction.

Tim Johnson is upholding his pledge to de-fund the war, which is the only way
that Obama's mad expansion of it can be stopped.

David Gill is unwilling publicly to pledge to vote against money for war, so he
has to misrepresent what his opponent is doing.

If Gill were to become a Representative, he would be another vote for the
Democrats' war policy - always couched in Obama's misleading rhetoric about a
future withdrawal. How often are you willing to be lied to by the Democrats
about the war?

Johnson on the other hand publicly states that he was wrong to vote for the
unlawful invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq (as I told him when I ran against him
in 2002) and will vote for no more money for war in the Mideast. That's the
only way the administration can be stopped.

This "support the troops" malarkey is as disingenuous now as it was in 2001 and
2003 - an intellectually dishonest support for the war. --CGE
