My parents forbade us to watch Monty Python. I have no idea why. My
education is seriously lacking in several ways, but Monty Python is a
huge gaping hole that I sorely miss.

My parents watched M.A.S.H. and, at least my mother encouraged us to
watch that. M.A.S.H. is still one of my favorite television pleasures.
I have no idea why my parents did not approve of Monty Python. I am
pretty sure my father would not have understood the accents, but my
mother would have enjoyed the humor.
