[Peace-discuss] pretty good HP article on Rand Paul

Many Ron Paul supporters criticized his son Rand quite severely during
his campaign for
some neoconnish leanings and other deviations from fundamental principles.

I do have to admit that Rand is doing pretty well at holding the line so
far.
He is also unashamedly calling himself a Tea Party-er of the 16 Dec 2007
variety.
He doesnt seem to bother in saying that he is different from the
astroturfers.

HuffPost has a pretty good piece on Rand -

/Rand Paul is a dangerous man. The thing is it's difficult to tell
whether the Freshman Senator from Kentucky is more dangerous to the Left
or the Right. Unarguably, he is dangerous to 'The System', for if
nothing else he isn't screwing around...Apparently Rand Paul wasn't
merely piggybacking the anti-government groundswell of 2010. He was
damned serious. And now that 2011 begins with him on the inside, he's
going to stand on principle, at least for the time being. This is
nothing Republicans want to hear.../
