[Peace-discuss] Japanese warning

I have long been a member of that U.S. Science Group; it has done useful service and has a useful function, but its position on nuclear power has been negative for a long while using cost as an crucial argument—i.e., they cost too much.  The sentence …scientists said they needed to do more to ensure that future quakes don't risk the kind of reactor impact that Japan is now grappling with… doesn't carry much weight unless one knows which scientists are being quoted. Lyman and UCS has been long antagonistic to nuclear power.  --mkb
