In my opinion, and many others,
It would be what was talked about at the first pre-G.A. at the Catholic Worker House, after the Chase Bank occupation.

That is, a Saturday G.A. meeting and committe meetings during the weekday evenings.

I know that there have been street corner actions on Saturdays from 2-4pm, which is great.
Perhaps a Noon - 2pm or whenever G.A. and then a " hit the streets " action from 2-4pm.
Everyone would then need to have a late B-fast or early lunch before 12-Noon.
This I think would not only make it more available to working people ( on a Saturday ) but would also have an action immediately after the G.A. meeting, which would add a element of doing something in conjunction with( after ) the G.A. meeting.

And YES !, by all means, the G.A. meeting MUST always be the same day, time, and place ( if possible ).

  What would you all think a is a better night during week for those who work?  As I understand it, GA is open to changing meeting time, but after much discussion on several occasions,  we are at a loss as to what would be better.  I was thinking maybe we could alternate a week night with Fridays, every other week or so, but argument was consistency was the best. In order to attract new people it would need to be the same day of week as much as possible.  It is hard to get feedback and/or consensus on this one since those who want it to be a different day can never be there.  

  As to number three, I think we do go out of our way to be friendly and welcoming to anyone showing up for first time.  Number two we may need to get better on.

  Last weeks discussion of time issue kinda got tabled to later day.  Many of us attending have already worked Fridays into our schedules as most of us are in other activities as well.  I think discussion of this is a good thing though.

  Three suggestions that I think would help the local Occupy Movement ;

  1) Change the Friday evening G.A. meetings. 
  Friday evening is the worst possible evening of the week for most people who work full-time.

  2) You need to personaly e-mail me and other airshifters of Public Affairs Programs at WEFT radio the day / location / time of the G.A. meetings as well as the Saturday street corner actions, AT LEAST 4-days in advance of the event ie. Tuesday evening, EVERY SINGLE WEEK.
   I can also forward this to those who have television programs at UPTV as well as various local list-serves.

  WEFT radio, The IMC / WRFU / PUBLIC I newspaper and Urbana Public Television ( UPTV ) are the non-corporate People's media....PLEASE use it to your advantage, over and over and over again, the more it is repeated the more people ( in both numbers and diversity ) will hear it.

  3) Any new person who shows-up at G.A. meetings should be the immediate focus of attention at the very begining of the meeting......
  Introduce yourself, what is it that interests you about Occupy ?, etc ..
