This is indeed terrorism, and a war crime, if it occurred. There are a lot of ifs in this report, though. We should watch it closely. Is there any way to confirm this?

Obama Bombs Yemen Hours After Winning Reelection

Not even a full day had passed before newly reelected President Obama ordered another drone strike in Yemen. Huffington Post<http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/07/obama-drone-strikes_n_2089836.html?1352326649&ncid=edlinkusaolp00000008> [1]:

<http://antiwar.com/blog/2012/11/07/obama-bombs-yemen-hours-after-winning-reelection/p091812ps-0756/>On Wednesday morning, as many Americans sifted through the voter data and exit poll numbers of President Barack Obama’s reelection the night before, the Twitter feeds<https://twitter.com/gregorydjohnsen/status/266243528600997889> [2] of close watchers of Yemen lit up with reports of another sort of presidential event: an apparent U.S. drone strike had killed several individuals in that country.

There was no way of being certain if the strike was indeed American, or for that matter if it was a drone strike at all, although it had all the markings of one.

“All signs (after dark, suspicions of locals, target) point to Sanhan strike being a US drone,” Yemen-based freelance journalist Adam Baron wrote<https://twitter.com/adammbaron/status/266253675259887616> [3] on Twitter.

Several other analysts concurred<https://twitter.com/ionacraig/status/266251295084662785> [4].

A White House spokesman did not respond to a request for comment. If it were a American strike, of course, it would have to have been authorized by Obama<http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/29/world/obamas-leadership-in-war-on-al-qaeda.html?pagewanted=all> [5].

The drone war violates both domestic<http://antiwar.com/blog/2012/09/10/the-laws-obama-is-breaking-in-his-relentless-drone-war/> [6] and international law<http://antiwar.com/blog/2012/10/31/drones-my-lai-and-prosecuting-the-powerful/> [7], and the Obama administration’s vehement disdain for transparency in government is the only thing keeping it from public and legal scrutiny. Beyond the law, it’s terrorism<http://news.antiwar.com/2012/09/25/study-counterproductive-drone-war-terrorizes-civilians-in-pakistna/> [8].
