Here's a statement against the attack on Gaza by the Israeli Workers Advice Center

(Written on phone so apologies for typos)
I think perhaps to pose the question in terms of how could we build towards liberation for Palestine. The world wide support is unprecedented. Russia Today published the numbers of pro Gaza and pro Israel tweets world wide. It was 3 to one for Gaza. The extent of the support worldwide is demonstrated by the response in Pakistan held pro Palestine demos. (From my facebook it seems that the US held onto their internal public relations victory for Israel).
Neverthe less the political leadership in the Palestinian movement is as bad as John describes. The left in Israel is brave but not yet a mass movement.
The link though is to the revolutionary workers' movement in Eygpt. Could the Palestinians build a similar movement? Would this enthuse the Israeli left?
