It seems fine and useful as it stands.

I don't see that Finkelstein's conjectures add much, or fit in, but it does provide increased hope/relief that a land invasion of Gaza (and the West Bank) are, for now, not in the cards.

Egypt is important for U.S. aims in the ME, and it was a worry to the establishment that Morsi might go too far in supporting the Palestinians. Hence brakes were applied to the N-yahoos.
