One way we can cast this: barring the rapture, we know that of Obama and 
Romney, one of the two will be the next President.  We could say that 
the demonstration is addressing both of them.  Their positions with 
respect to Manning and government-embarrassing whistleblowers are 
probably pretty similar anyway.
