Four things to remember about Social Security
 Scott McLarty:
 (1) Obama's plan to slash Social Security is unprompted and not a compromise with the GOP. It's his own design, a gift to the Democratic Party's financial-sector benefactors who'll reap billions as more Americans feel compelled to invest retirement savings in the unstable Wall Street casino. 
(2) As Ronald Reagan explained, SS "has nothing to do with balancing the budget or erasing or lowering the deficit" 

(3) SS is not an "entitlement" or a "handout" -- it's an earned benefit we pay into for our own use when needed. 

(4) Obama & Dem leaders get away with this crap because they take votes for granted on the basis of "Republicans are worse." That's how two-party politics is leading the US into a dark & dangerous place.
