Great Bill !

We have five people so far from Champaign-Urbana just within the last 30-minutes of sending out the " call to action " e-mail.

Now people in Chicago are interested in doing a simaltaneous event at Durbin's Chicago office at the same time we go to the Springfield office.
This will be great !

I will contact people I know in Decatur and Bloomington-Normal as well.

Who else from C-U is interested ?

PLEASE contact them and see if they are interested,
The more people the better !

Next we should deceide on a good day, maybe a day the Durbin himself will be at either office.

    It seems to me that if we are going to crush the President's proposal to cut Social Security and veterans' benefits by means of the chained CPI, Durbin is key. 


    What do people think of the idea of taking a rowdy delegation to Durbin's office in Springfield?


    Perhaps we could gather some friends from Springfield, Decatur, Bloomington, etc.


    Key logistical hurdles: 1) we'd have to go on a weekday and 2) it's an hour and a half away.



    What do folks think? Who would be into doing this? Who could go? Who would help organize?
