The Gaza's Ark project is about breaking the blockade on Gaza from the
other side: breaking the stranglehold on Gaza's exports. Each of us can
help in the U.S. (or elsewhere) by doing any or all of the following:
contributing financially what we can; signing up for their email list, and
reading and forwarding their messages; following Gaza's Ark on Twitter and
retweeting their messages; sharing their web page and videos on Facebook;
reaching out to institutions we're connected to recruit them to support the
project; purchasing products from Gaza through the Gaza's Ark website. - RN

Gaza’s Ark is a project
<http://www.gazaark.org/about-us/mission-statement/>which will rebuild
a boat in Gaza, with Palestinian hands, which will carry
Palestinian products out to the world. The main goal of Gaza’s Ark, with
the support of people like you, is to challenge Israel’s illegal and unjust
blockade of Gaza in order to work towards a lasting peace.

The blockade is having tragic consequences on  all aspects of life in Gaza.
Those whose livelihood depends on manufacturing have seen their ability to
produce decline as a result of lack of raw materials that cannot be easily
imported. At the same time they cannot export whatever they produce. This
creates a dependence on foreign aid.

 *Palestinians need trade not aid. This is their call.*
