Monday early evening isn't great for some of us - 6PM is the time of the
public meeting with the needs-assessment consultant for the Champaign
County jail system. Brian Dolinar wrote:

Possibly after that? Brian or anybody, do we have an idea how long
this meeting might last?

(Later that evening, some of us might also want to attend Imad Al Qadi's
Q&A after the 7:30 showing of The Gate Keepers, about US-initiated death
squads in Iraq. The film is showing all week at the Art, but Monday's
is the only Q&A session. I don't know if we can slip into the Q&A,
which would probably be a little after 9, without seeing the film before
it.)

I'd also be up for talking about this today, Saturday.

Meanwhile, ...

Do people have ideas for signs? I'm inclined to make one about the
public good - really like your comments about that, Aimee.

Is there anything we might be able to put in print and hand to
passersby? I'd be happy to arrange to make copies if so.

Demonstration logistics: Beckman has two main entrances, on the east
side facing a circle drive on Mathews, and on the south facing the
Engineering Quad. The auditorium is on the west end of the building,
so attendees might take either entrance. The building's big enough
that a demo outside one entrance would be out of sight of those entering
by the other. We should think about where best to demonstrate depending
on how many of us show up to object.
