Assistant Professor in the Labor Education Program at the University of Illinois in Urbana IL. will discuss his new book "Expanding the Strike Zone: Baseball in the Age of Free Agency."   
A labor history of the baseball industry since the mid-20th century. It deals with the rise of the Major League Baseball Players Association, as well as a number of key industry responses to player's growing bargaining power.
