Maybe.

Sometimes facts have to be set aside to see
the big picture.  The question is if there are
little patterns or big ones that describe what's up.

If a 1936 event occurred in 2014 there would be
and incredible outcry in the press,and in the public eye,
and we would reap tonnes of new authoritarian social
controls from it.

1936 heating is a fact, but the human coefficient in the model was
apparently not different from zero.

Drought and famine are old words. Anthropogenic famine is
a possible but anthropogenic drought seems as out of reach
as AGW.

1937 was marked by massive rains and flooding.  Jan 1937 was
the wettest month ever recorded in Cincinnati.  Today, that too
would be blamed on the activity of man.

The seasons change and glaciers enlarge and contract and
those sledgehammers seem to care nothing for the tiny contributions
made by humans.

Time chance and entropy will turn the cities to rubble and dust
despite the activities of builders and architects and real estate
agents.
