Subject: Urgent Update re: Israel on Campus
To: naiman.uiuc at gmail.com

          Hello (Contact First Name),

My name is Noah Feingold, and I've recently created a new RSO
called Illini Students Supporting Israel. ISSI is an umbrella organization
for all Israel-related activities on campus - specifically education,
engagement, and connecting people to their passions.

I want to inform you that Israel Apartheid Week is happening on our campus
starting Monday April 21st until Wednesday the 23rd. What does that mean?
During the main part of the week there will be a large wall on the Quad
that wrongfully accuses Israel of committing humanitarian crimes. Basically
some students will try to demonize the state of Israel and make students on
campus uncertain about their relation to it.

ISSI, along with myself personally, strongly object to the harsh and
misleading rhetoric of Israel Apartheid Week. We think that promoting hate
against one side is counter-productive to the peace talks that are
currently taking place between Israel and the Palestinians under the
leadership of Secretary of State, John Kerry. Our goal is to promote a
positive message at Illinois that supports the peace process and the
two-state solution. I urge you to exercise restraint by not engaging in any
confrontations with the people organizing the Apartheid Week and the Wall.

HOW CAN YOU HELP? Good question! The pro-Israel, pro-peace students on
campus are organizing a Peace Gathering on the Quad on Wednesday April 23rd
between 11am and 3pm. Feel free to join us at any point during the day and
learn about more ways to support Israel. Like the Illini Students
Supporting Israel Facebook page to get
