Israel-Palestine is a problem that even Jimmy Carter couldn't solve.

But it's not insoluble.

The Jews and the Palestinians hate each other fiercely.   Both sides
have good sound logical reasons for hating the other, so they wont
stop any time soon.

I suggest the best way is to evacuate the Palestinians and send them to 
Detroit.

Detroit may be short on water but it has lots of empty space.
Detroit  has a port.  So does Gaza.  Just put them on boats.
Name them Exodus.  Heck, get Paul Newman to help.

There's hardly anything left to steal in Detroit, and everyone is broke,
so the Jews coming back there any time soon.

And Palestine is an arid place so the Palestinians won't be bothered much by
the lack of water.  And they can all get jobs driving taxicabs taking other
Palestinians into Detroit from the shipyards.
