[Peace-discuss] Demonstration - No New Iraq War - Sunday, 11:30am - 1:00pm - at Main and Neil

The US is "considering" use of military force to support the Iraqi 
government - against the same insurgents whom we're already supporting 
as they fight the Syrian government. Adding military fuel to the fire is 
no answer in Iraq.

At today's AWARE table we talked about the alarming prospect of use of 
new US military force in Iraq.   If you can spare a few minutes tomorrow 
morning/early afternoon, please join us for a special demonstration -

     Main and Neil, downtown Champaign (the usual demonstration site)
     Sunday, June 15th
     11:30am - 1:00pm  (but not the usual time)

We'll aim to have some signs, but if you have time to make a new one, 
that could be good.  Likewise if you have an idea for a sign you'd like 
to see - whether you'll be there or not - please let us know.

Other ways to act, and things to read -

     Just Foreign Policy created a MoveOn petition opposing 
intervention, by calling for Congressional authorization for any 
action.  This was enough obstacle to block direct US military 
intervention in Syria last autumn, and perhaps it could be here:
