Rosen is the rabbi of the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation in
Evanston, and
serves on the Rabbinical Council of Jewish Voice for Peace. Since JVP is a
key institutional backer of boycott-divestment-sanctions against the
Israeli occupation, this is an especially timely visit; the Illinois
anti-boycott legislation is sure to come up.

an event tonight. Rabbi Brant Rosen will be speaking at *7pm in Greg Hall
100*. He is known for his activism and outspokenness on behalf of the
Palestinian people. The lecture is titled "Dissent among the Jewish
