The question for us as privileged Americans is what the government for which we're responsible is doing. 

In fact, it's committing crimes, as we should know, in the interests of the 1% - and against the interests of the vast majority - at home and abroad. 

That same government is using Saudi Arabia and Israel as its instruments in killing people in the Middle East who oppose US control of world energy resources. 

In most cases, the "extremist" versions of the Abrahamic religions are propaganda covers.

And I say that as a Catholic and an anarchist (= libertarian socialist, if you prefer).
