Stand up to the 1%!


This Saturday is an opportunity for community and labor activists to come together and demand better for Illinois.
There will be a rally at the Hilton Garden Inn on the occasion of the rightwing billionaire Bruce Rauner's visit to the local Republican Party.  Rauner represents the worst of the Republican Party, the rich elite who are coordinating the attacks on the rights for working people (including the unemployed, and including workers from other countries driven from their homes by US foreign policy and collusion and exploited here), social programs that serve them, etc.

Parking is free at the University's E14 lot near Oak and Kirby in Champaign.
Gather just before 10AM and we will march over to the conference center together (about a block).

There will also be a sign-making party tonight at the University YMCA, 6-8PM, hosted by GEO.  (Thanks, GEO!)
