There will always be those who blame antisemitism on the Jews, just as there are those who blame other forms of racism on their targets. It's very sloppy thinking and you seem to be leaning very close to joining their ranks here.

The cause of racism is racists. The cause of bigotry is bigots. Their problem, their faulty thought patterns, their moral weaknesses. The Jews are not by any means morally obligated to make extra-super-super-super-nice in order to win over neanderthal racists, and it's ridiculous to suggest that it's fundamentally a PR problem, and the onus is on the Jews to solve it.

When something as horrendous as Steve Francis comes along, with his Holocaust denial and his Big Goddamn Jew Conspiracy horseshit, then hell yeah, I'm going to be uppity, and hell yeah I'm going to be loud, and hell no, I'm not going to feel constrained to mute myself down because of your pearl clutching.
