Dear *Robert*,

The escalating violence in Jerusalem is heartbreaking, and the Israeli
government’s recent announcement that it was building another *1,000
settlement homes in occupied East Jerusalem* only adds more fuel to the
fire. Stopping settlement expansion is one way to de-escalate the tension.
To do that, we need your help *stopping the Denver-based real estate
company RE/MAX from selling homes in settlements. *

RE/MAX is selling homes in settlements that are widely accepted as
violating international law. Israeli settlements have displaced thousands
of Palestinian families and are a direct hindrance to the peace process.
We’ve asked Chairman of the Board Dave Liniger to halt the selling of
settlement properties by RE/MAX’s Israel franchise, but the company has
failed to take action.

To mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people on
November 29, take action and *join the new CODEPINK campaign **No Open
House on Stolen Land* by participating in the week of actions taking place
at RE/MAX offices around the world November 29-Dec 5.

This new campaign is part of the *Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS)
movement*, a call by Palestinian civil society groups to boycott companies
and institutions that are complicit in Israel’s brutal occupation of
Palestinian land. The BDS movement is a non-violent way to hold Israel
accountable for its violations of human rights and international law.

As we have seen with SodaStream and Ahava, the BDS movement is experiencing
victories across the world. But Palestine is still occupied and the
settlements are growing. If you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to
join the global struggle for Palestinian rights.
