The Sanders's Presidential campaign is already getting off to a bad start !

 

He needs to ;

 

NOT advocate for healthcare " reform " but take an uncompromising position
of support for the expansion of Medicare / single payer !

 

NOT make college " more affordable " but make it FREE from pre-school to
college PhD. !

 

NOT a $ 10.00 per hour national minimum wage phased in over 4 - 5 years, but
$ 15 per hour NOW !

 

Etc..

 

And most important,  EXPOSE the ;  lying, elitist,  neo-liberal, anti-
Worker, war monger, that Hillary Clinton is, with a detailed list of her
past record !

 

This is what a REAL opposition candidate would do in a REAL democracy !

 

At this rate he is not going to inspire the majority of people in this
country that do not vote ( 65 % + ) to register and vote for him, and when
all is said and done after the primaries, will he endorse the coronation of
Hillary Clinton ? What a lasting legacy that will be for him, a so called 

" Socialist / Independent ".

 

I hope I am wrong !

 

If Sander's primary was done right, he would not only talk about and
advocate for issues that Hillary Clinton does not want to even discuss, but
would also inspire a significant percentage of those who don't vote, to
register and vote for him because of the uncompromising positions he would
take on issues that would improve the lives of poor and Working class
people. Which IS the 90 % majority of the U.S. population. 

Otherwise, by not criticizing and exposing her for what she really is, all
he will do in effect is give coaching lessons to Hillary that she can learn
from and use to sound more populist / progressive and allow her to lie
through her teeth about her entire past record of betrayal. 

 

What am I going to do ( for those who care ) ?

 

I honestly don't know at this point. 

I am glad he is running, but I am not very hopeful with this announcement of
" non-criticism " of Hillary.

We will see what happens.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) insisted Wednesday that he will not run negative
ads against Hillary Clinton in his run for the White House.

"I've never run a negative ad in my life," he said at a Thursday afternoon
press conference. "I hate and detest these 30-second ugly, negative ads.

"I believe that, in a democracy, what elections are about are serious
debates on political issues," added Sanders, who formally entered the race
for the White House on Thursday.

Sanders, who few think can defeat Clinton for the Democratic nomination, did
say he would look to draw a contrast with Clinton and other candidates.

"Let's be clear, to say that people disagree on issues and point out those
issues, that's what a debate is about," he said. "Let me tell you, I run
vigorous campaigns."

Sanders has shown a willingness to criticize the large donations made to
Hillary and Bill Clinton's foundation, which he has described as being
emblematic of the problem of money in politics. On Thursday, he called the
donations "a fair issue."

Sanders spoke to the press from the Senate "Swamp" - a briefing area, where
the East side of the Capitol acts as a backdrop.

Some nonreporters gathered on a ledge near the podium to watch the
conference, which drew a decent-sized crowd of reporters. Cheers were heard
when Sanders finished speaking.

He laid out policy positions in line with his positions in the Senate,
including reforms to the health care system, making a college education more
affordable and reforming the campaign finance system.
