[Peace] An appeal for information

First, a pitch: WEFT airs national public affairs programming from 4 - 6
p.m. daily. The programming includes Democracy Now! and Free Speech Radio
News, as well as other programs featuring progressive viewpoints. This is
a good source of information about national anti-war organizing.
Appeal: Many events have been posted to this list. Since not everyone can
attend, it would help to have short reports posted to the Independent Media
Center website, urbana.indymedia.org. Anyone can publish by selecting the
"publish" link at the top of the page. Short summaries would suffice, or
even a list of answers to the following questions:
What happened?
When?
Where did it take place?
Who attended? (Students? People from Champaign? etc.)
How many attended?
Why was the event held?
Feel free to include your reaction to the event--"It went well," "We had a
great discussion. People focused on how to break out of the stereotype of
anti-war protesters. They had these ideas..." etc.
Pictures would be great, too! If you want help posting pictures to the
site, contact me.
Thanks,
Peter
