Susan,

I like the idea very much.  Very dramatic and it'll make some people mad.

I'd suggest that we not take any chances with unloaded real rifles.  Calling
the police ahead of time to inquire about this seems in good order. And, I'd
let the police know in advance that we plan to use toy guns. This will
protect our right to demonstrate and not give the police a reason to stop us
because someone thought we had real guns. In today's climate, being
pro-active by communicating to the police about what we're doing seems
smart.

Tomorrow, on Prospect, we want to slowly carry the huge coffin with
the sign HUMANITY on it, and have a few people with USA on their shirts
point guns at the coffin as they slowly march it up and down the streets.

A kind of simple idea, but at least it's theater.

Does anyone have kids rifles? Or can help us figure out if we can carry
unloaded rifles without the cops stopping us?

Or if you have another idea?
(We need things to be simple.)
