Another independent documentary about the horrors of US cluster bombs, this
time in Laos, on WILL-TV, your local PBS station (Channel 13 w/cable,
channel 12 w/out) at 11pm tonight:

"Bombies"

The mist-shrouded mountains of northeastern Laos have been called the end
of nowhere. Yet, in a place most people don't even know exists, a deadly
drama is unfolding. Between 1964 and 1973 the CIA conducted a secret air
war, dropping over 2 million tons of bombs and making tiny Laos the most
heavily bombed country in history. Millions of these cluster bombs did
not explode when dropped, leaving the country massively contaminated with
bombies;as dangerous now as when they fell a quarter century ago.
BOMBIES examines the problem of unexploded cluster bombs through the
personal experiences of a group of Laotians and foreigners.
