	Bryan Warnick, Doctoral Candidate, Studying Philosophy of Education at UIUC
	From a student’s perspective we explore  Western Culture.  How do you
view  Western Culture? Share your time with a 			student who has his own
perspective about Western Culture?

February 8	The Role of Women in Islam
	Aisha Sobh, Miriam Sobh, Shaz A. Kaiseruddin
	Often times it is not known how women feel about the religion they have
adopted.  Listen to the voices of women in Islam 		as they share their
views about balancing Islam, gender roles and politics in the United
States.  Listen as they share 		their feelings about the war and how it
may impact their lives.

February 15  Lying for the Public Good
	Salim Muwakkil, Senior Editor of the Chicago-Based “In These Times” Magazine
     How much does the public need to know?  When reading the newspaper
or watching TV, do you feel as though you are only 		being told one side
of the story or not given all of the facts about a story?  Who is the
media really protecting and 		why?

February 22 Do Banks Have a Future?  Banking Crises Around the World
	Morgan Lynge, Professor of Finance and Chair of Department at UIUC
	Banks around the world are in a crises, how will this affect U.S.
Policy and more directly how will the crises affect 		people in the
United States and globally.  What will come from the rapid changes?  

March 1	Pentagon and Profit - Partners in Propaganda
	Inger Stole, Professor of Advertising at UIUC
	During both of the World Wars and recently in the aftermath of
September 11th, the advertising community has rushed to 		the
government’s side. What lies behind these gestures? What motivates the
advertising industry and what does it really 		want to accomplish? 

March 8	Muslim Views on U.S. Foreign Policy
	Badredine Arfi, Visiting Assisting Professor of Political Science at UIUC
	With so many changes in policy, what is to be expected.  How does U.S.
foreign policy affect Islamic Politics?  			Join us in a discussion that
will answer some of these questions. 
	
March 29	Understanding the Roots of Terrorism: Iraq as Case Study
	Scott Ritter, Former United Nations Weapons Inspector to Iraq
	Come explore the essence of terrorism with an expert who knows first
hand about the underlying causes and effects of war, 								terrorism
and unrest. Who are the perpetrators and who are the victims?
