Peace workers,
Cope Cumpston has volunteered to get our fliers into Quark or Pagemaker so
that they can be easily manipulated and also saved in a format that can be
posted to our website and sent as an e-flier. I did not have the capabilites
to do that in the very elementary Printshop program that I used to layout
the fliers.
Now some questions:

1) We are now completely out of fliers. What is the next event that we need
them for? Would it be prudent to have the existing fliers copied right
away? By the way... the 3000 fliers that we had printed were copied at a
Union Shop for about $270 dollars, that included copying both sides on
colored paper and doing the tri-fold. We were not being extravegent.
Jennifer Cartwright shopped around and did some serious bargaining to get
that price... and the fact that it included the folding was a factor to
consider in whether they would actually be available to hand out at the
events. That said, I know a couple of people have access to copy
machines... and if we aren't in that big of hurry some of you might be
willing to fold the fliers? So please respond to this email if you
(1) have access to a copy machine
(2) are willing to show up early to a meeting and fold fliers
(3)know of an event where fliers should be passed out (when is the Farmers
Market happening?)
(4) would like to suggest editing or changes to the exisitng pamphlets (5)
would like to proposed text for another pamphlet

Thanks for your input.
Sandra
