[Peace] Stop the Police State

	While Republicans with congressional power uphold overt race and
class based oppression through their policies of "free trade" and big
military, it is the Democrats in charge of all the major cities that carry
out the racist and classist wars on "drugs" and "poverty." Most recently,
peaceful protestors in Chicago and especially Oakland have felt the wrath
of the Richard Daley and Jerry Brown Police States.

	Student Peace Action is encouraging people to call both offices
and tell them that you will forever refuse to support Oakland or Chicago
businesses becase of their police actions.

	In Oakland, peaceful protestors were shot with rubber and wooden
pellets on Monday morning. Call and demand due medical compensation for
the injured, demand that Mayor Jerry Brown (who supported the Police
actions) immediately resign, and inform of your intent to never shop on
the Oakland side of the Bay again. Mayor Brown's office: 510-238-3141

	In Chicago, a peaceful protest on Saturday was met with police
supression to the tune of 3,000 cops. While no reports of violence were
reported, the intent was clearly there. The free expression and right of
assembly of the protestors was hampered by the cops in riot gear who
re-routed the march and denied marchers the right to leave the march for
bathroom purposes, etc. Please demand that Mayor Daley stop upholding his
