Lost Film Festival is a traveling showcase of independent film that celebrates
freedom of expression by traveling around the world, presenting controversial
work often glossed over by the corporate press. The ever-morphing program
features scathing as well as hilarious social commentary from North America and
beyond in the form of narrative shorts, documented pranks, and hot amateur
protest footage from around the globe. Festival Director Scott Beibin
(Bloodlink Records) spins the films in the same way a DJ spins records, and
narrates with amusing anecdotes and behind the scenes information about the
films. Lost Film Fest sports a strong guerrilla aesthetic. Its indigenous
environs are squats, clubs, warehouses, and rooftops, but it regularly appears
at theaters and universities as it has gained enormous popularity throughout
the years. The festival constantly experiments with presenting images in fresh
new ways. In the age of media consolidation and monopolies in the US, where
resources and access are scarce for independent viewpoints, Lost Film Fest has
been said to represent the future of cinema.

The special feature of the program will be fresh footage of the extreme police
brutality from the streets of Miami. The corporate owned press failed to report
the extent that Miami was turned into a police state for the meetings of the
Free Trade Area of The Americas in November this year. Come witness what
actually happened in the streets. Graphic footage of Police officers attacking
hundreds of peaceful protestors with batons, using tasers, spraying them with
chemical agents, shooting rubber bullets at young and old people at point blank
range (costing some their eyes). Warning: This is extremely shocking & graphic
footage. It should be seen by ALL Americans who value the right to free
expression and assembly.
