EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN in the event of war
Sponsored by the Chicago Coalition Against War & Racism and
other groups
* IF the U.S. launches a full-scale war on Iraq, there will be an
Emergency Response Demonstration at the Federal Plaza, corner
of Adams & Dearborn Streets, Chicago, beginning at 5 p.m. the
evening of the attack.
* The morning after the attack begins (assuming it occurs before
midnight), a mass civil disobedience action will take place at 8 am
at the Federal Building on the Plaza (corner of Jackson &
Dearborn). This action is sponsored by the Iraq Peace Pledge, of
which CCAWR is a member.
* At 5 pm of the day after the start of the war, there will be a follow
up demonstration to the first night's protest. This again will be at
the Federal Plaza, corner of Adams & Dearborn Streets, Chicago.
