Kimberlie-

Peace be on you!

Your offer to tape is much appreciated. However, there is reluctance to
have the Jul 18 talk taped and/or aired.
Therefore, our regrets. We sincerely hope that you will understand our
reasons.

Hope to see you all there!

With best wishes,

Irfan

Hi Kimberlie-

I have forwarded your request to the speakers and the CIMIC management for
concurrence.

Hello.

I left a message on the machine at the Mosque about asking for permission to
videotape Friday's talk on Iraq for broadcast on Urbana Public Access TV,
channel 6 on local cable. This station is not WILL-TV, public broadcasting
at the University of Illinois, where I am employed, but is the local Urbana
and Champaign cable channel.

They allow the public to use their equipment and tape programs and submit
those programs for broadcast. I understand that you already tape your
programs. Perhaps there is no need for a second set of equipment? Perhaps
you would be interested in submitting the tape to UPTV for broadcast? If
not, I am happy to videotape the talk with professional equipment and
microphones for the best quality sound and picture.

I had planned on attending the talk anyway, and wanted to offer to tape if
permission can be granted.

Thanks for your consideration.

Kimberlie Kranich
