   Dr. Irfan Ahmad received his B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from the
University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and MS and Ph.D. degrees in
Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
   Dr. Ahmad is a researcher and an entrepreneur, and is currently working on
the confluence of bio-, info-, and nano technologies.  He is a frequent
speaker on science and engineering ethics, and policy issues, and serves on
several committees.
   Dr. Ahmad is the former President of the CIMIC Association.  He can be
