[Peace] SPA March 5th action (fwd widely)

In Solidarity with the March 5th National Student Day of Action...


	Urbana, IL - On Wednesday, March 5, Student Peace Action (SPA) at
the University of Illinois will conduct a humanitarian drive to help
counter the disastrous effects of the U.S. sanctions on Iraq.  Students
will be on the South Patio of the Illini Union at 10a.m. collecting cold
and cough medicine to assist Iraqis in need.

At noon, SPA will hold a rally at the same place to motivate students to
obtain and donate their free bi-weekly McKinley Health Center cold packs
(consisting of supplies and medicine) to this humanitarian cause.

At 4p.m., SPA will package all the cold packs accrued during the day and
ship them to Voices in the Wilderness in Chicago. Voices in the
Wildnerness is a Grasroots Not for Profit organization that works to end
the economic sanctions on Iraq.
