[Peace] Sunday vigil update

I expect hundreds of people may show up. We distributed over 5000 flyers
yesterday on campus (thanks to Doug C, Adrienne, Diane, John F., R.
Ravishankar, Linda, Karis and Meredith =8-) yesterday and I presume word
will spread from there.

> 1. Digital camera to take pictures and sent to moveon.org (this is called
> for by moveon.org and is part of the whole campaign).

Please bring your digital camera if you have one and contact me (or just
send me the pictures directly by e-mail).

> 2. Notifying media of this event.

I've FAXed media advisories to WAND, WICD, WCIA and News-Gazette. I spoke
with live people at WCIA and the News Gazette.

> 3. Getting a PSA (Public Service Announcement) on WEFT

No one has volunteered for this.

> 4. Ideas for peaceful non-sectarian music (Paul?)

We have one volunteer singer, but that's it. It doesn't look like this is
coming together.

> 5. A way to facilitate sharing individual comments about why they're
against
> the war (see Cynthia's comments below)

I suspect the group may be too large to do anything organized along these
lines.

> 6. Of course, bringing candles, paper cups and lighters.

Lisa has retrieved "hundreds" of candles from a previous event. (Yay Lisa!)

We could use a good supply of paper cups (to keep hot wax off hands and
shield flames from any wind).

Please bring any lighters you have as well.

Thanks
