[Peace] Peace Bazaar results

Friends,

I am happy to announce that we now know the results of last December's Peace
Bazaar.  The 33rd annual Peace Bazaar earned $3720 which is nearly $400 more
then we've made before.  The $3720 will be divided among eight peace and
social justice groups, each receiving $465.

Local recipients include the BOAST Academy, El Centro por los Trabajadores,
Independent Media Canter (for the newspaper public-i), and St. Jude Catholic
Worker House.  The international recipients include Doctors Without Borders,
Heifer Project International, Ploughshares Fund and the Guatemalan
accompianment work that Meridith Kruse is doing through NISGUA, the Network
in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala.

I am pleased to have been a part of this fine effort.  I want to thank each
of you who volunteered at the Peace Bazaar.  Your hard work makes such a
wonderful difference.  Thanks also to those who donated items for the sale
and to those who shopped.  We need you all.
