[Peace] Amy Goodman coming to Champaign April 23

Amy Goodman WEFT Benefit

      Amy Goodman, host of Democracy Now! will deliver a talk about her  new
book, "The Exception to the Rulers: Exposing Oily Politicians, War
Profiteers, and the Media that Love Them", on Friday, April 23, at the
Illinois Disciples Foundation, Springfield and Wright streets in Champaign,
beginning at
6:15PM. Ms. Goodman will be passing through Champaign-Urbana as part of  her
30-city book tour, and will do a benefit talk for WEFT promoting her new
book.  After a 45 minute presentation, there will be a short Q&A, preceding
a book signing.  Ms. Goodman's book will be available for purchase thanks to
Pages For All Ages. She will appear on Media Geek, hosted by Paul
Riismandel, from 5:30-6:00 on WEFT.
