 PLEASE COME AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR
 
 A RESOLUTION TO WITHDRAW FROM IRAQ

 The following groups have signed a resolution or made faith-based statements to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq: Urbana-Champaign Friends (Quaker) Meeting; Illinois Great Rivers Chapter of Methodist Federation for Social Concerns; Social Action Committee of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church; First Mennonite Church in Urbana; McKinley Presbyterian Church Social Action Committee; Channing Murray Foundation; Outreach Ministries at Wesley United Methodist Church; Illinois Disciples Foundation; and CU-Interfaith Alliance. 
 
 Whether or not you are a member of one of these groups, if your moral or religious convictions lead you to believe the U.S. should withdraw from Iraq, please come to this press conference/public gathering and witness with your presence.
 
 No signs please. You may bring a candle or votive in a small glass jar to show your support.
 
 ***We are telling the press that we expect 100-200 people, hoping that TV and radio stations will choose to cover this, as well as print media.   A good crowd will help get across to the public that ending the U.S. occupation has wide-spread support.  Please attend if at all possible!
