[Peace] Community Court Watch

We are kicking off a Community Court Watch program with a protest this
Wednesday, March 22, at 1pm.
Meet us in front of the Champaign County Courthouse in downtown Urbana.
Throughout the coming weeks, we will be holding events to spotlight the
racial injustice at the County Courthouse.
See my recent article in the Public i about Urbana Officer Hjort and Urbana
lawyer Brian Silverman, white collar criminals who have got off scott free.
These cases stand in sharp contrast to Patrick Thompson, local Black
activist going to trial this Spring, and the mass of poor white, Black, and
Brown youth being run through the system.

Come Wednesday to find out more about these cases and to join us in this
important grassroots gathering.
