It is no secret that America is dangerously addicted to
oil.  The time to declare independence from oil is NOW.
Hundreds of demonstrations are happening nationwide on
Saturday! Join us in a local demonstration for the 3rd
Annual Fossil Fools Day, this Saturday, April 1st!

Protest:
 When--Saturday, April 1st at 1:00pm
 Where-Champaign Ford dealership on Neil St., a few blocks
south of Kirby
 Why--Take action to help end our addiction to oil!

************Why Protest?? Why Ford??**************
America's oil dependence endangers our environment, our
health, our economy, and our national security. Automobiles
are the single largest consumer of oil in the U.S. Among
automakers, Ford is the worst actor. Ford has the worst
fleetwide fuel efficiency and the highest average vehicle
greenhouse gas emissions of major U.S. automakers.

The demonstration is aimed to demand Ford to produce more
fuel efficient vehicles to help end our addiction to oil. By
pressuring Ford dealerships to produce more hybrid vehicles,
we hope that other companies will follow suit and thereby
cut down on the rate of global warming!
