[Peace] Consent Decree 101

Anyone interested in helping out the effort for
educational equity can get in on this rare
opportunity:

Local community activist Imani Bazell will hold a
small teach-in on the subject of Champaign Schools'
"consent decree" for local activists who are willing
to write letters to the editor, guest commentaries,
WILL "Public Square" commentaries, etc. to counter
some of the nonsense currently circulating in our
community.

Folks who would like to help speak up in this way,
please share your availablity over the next few weeks
and the Anti-Racist Working Group will set it up with
Imani.

This is not a letter-writing workshop, but Imani is
willing to do this with the expectation that attendees
come with a willingness to follow through and help out
in some small way, such as writing letters.  A few
letters and commentaries will help a lot for a
relatively small effort.
